Parish requirements for children to receive Confirmation
NOTE: This program is a two year commitment
Parents are registered members of Mary, Queen of Peace Parish
Child has been baptized and is between the ages of 13 and 18 years
Child has received the sacraments of Eucharist and Reconciliation
Child has regularly attended religious education classes through grade eight
Parents attend a preparation class concerning Confirmation
Child regularly attends classes year one and year two
Child completes Archdiocesan requirements as outlined in the “Confirmation Handbook” given to each participant at the beginning of the Confirmation program
If the child was not baptized at Mary, Queen of Peace, a copy of the certificate from the baptismal parish must be produced so we can verify information
