Sacramental Preparation: First Reconciliation and First Communion
Preparation for these sacraments takes place in the religious education program. Mary, Queen of Peace follows Archdiocesan guidelines that students in second grade be prepared to receive these sacraments. Both of these sacraments involve an emphasis on family, with parents playing an important role in the preparation and understanding of the sacraments. Children past the second grade level may prepare for the reception of these sacraments through the RCIC Program (Rite of Children’s Initiation). See further information in the Sacrament Policy Booklet.

This ministry is all about and will always be about Jesus the Christ. Throughout the year we will have many events with the archdiocese and the local deanery (West). All events will be planned and run by the core team.
