Pope Pius XII defined the Assumption of Mary to be a dogma of faith: “We pronounce, declare and define it to be a divinely revealed dogma that the immaculate Mother of God, the ever Virgin Mary, having completed the course of her earthly life, was assumed body and soul to heavenly glory.”
Annual Oktoberfest
Mark your calendars for our annual Oktoberfest Celebration. It will be held on Saturday, September 22nd. Not only is this evening a great social, it is also a Parish Fundraiser. Raffle tickets and tickets for food and entertainment are on sale in the Narthex after all the Masses.
